We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Children’s Residential Team Leader to join our teams. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide and inspire staff, while directly supporting young people to reach their full potential.
What we need from you:
*Level 3 or NVQ 4 in Residential Care (or equivalent)
*Full UK right to work
*Driving license required
*Availability for 1 on 2 off or 2 on 4 off shift patterns
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting children and young people in a residential setting
*Previous experience leading a team or managing parts of a home, including delegation and staff supervision
*Knowledge of therapeutic approaches and the ability to implement strategies that build meaningful attachments with young people
*Strong understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and care regulations
*A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them achieve their potential
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead, support, and motivate a team of residential support workers
*Oversee daily operations in parts of the home, ensuring high-quality care and smooth running
*Implement care plans and therapeutic strategies to meet the individual needs of young people
*Foster positive relationships with young people, building trust and encouraging development
*Contribute to staff training, appraisals, and professional development
*Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with all care standards and regulations
What we offer:
