Title: Community Care Champion
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: £15.00ph - £16.75ph
Guardian Angel Carers have proudly served our community with compassion, trust and dignity for 15 years. With exciting plans for continued growth into 2026, we are looking for a caring, thoughtful and dedicated Community Care Champion to join our exceptional team in West Sussex.
A Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car is essential for this role.
Make a Real Difference in Your Local Community - Are you passionate about care? Do you have expert local community knowledge? Do you love bringing people together and leading with heart?
This hybrid role blends high quality care with meaningful community engagement. You’ll build partnerships with local organisations, planning social events, and enhancing our clients’ connection to the community. Providing care is also a big part of this role, so you will also be providing high quality care and support to our clients including personal care, medication support and food & drink assistance.
What You’ll Be Doing as our Community Care Champion... In addition to your main Caregiving role to our wonderful clients:
*Build relationships with local charities, organisations, and community groups.
*Organise and participate in our community Hub events and wellbeing projects.
*Support clients in accessing local activities and staying socially connected.
*Collaborate with volunteers to promote events and encourage community involvement.
*Champion social inclusion and client independence in everyday life.
What You’ll Need:
*A full driving licence and access to a car for work.
*A genuine passion for community and social engagement.
*Event planning, group organisation, or volunteering experience.
*Strong communication and networking skills.
*Flexibility to switch between leadership, care, and community roles.
