We’re working with a well-established, privately owned FMCG business in the Nantwich area who are looking to appoint a Credit Controller on a permanent or temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is a hands-on role within a busy finance function and would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, managing their own ledger, and bringing structure to the credit control process.
Key responsibilities:*Managing a sales ledger and chasing outstanding debt
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
*Resolving invoice and payment queries efficiently
*Allocating cash and reconciling accounts
*Working with Xero and maintaining accurate records
*Using Excel for reporting and tracking aged debt
*Supporting month-end where required
About you:*Previous experience in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role
*Confident using accounting systems (Xero experience highly desirable)
*Comfortable working with Excel (lookups, basic reporting)
*Proactive, organised and confident communicating with customers
*Able to work on-site in Nantwich
*Available at short notice or happy to start on a temporary basis
