Job Description:
Our client, an innovative company in their field is currently looking for a R&D Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
As an R&D Engineer, you’ll play a key part in delivering both new and existing product development projects from concept through to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities
*Contribute to the design, development and delivery of new and existing products and associated instrumentation
*Manage and support product development activities from concept through to verification, validation and transfer to manufacture
*Produce and maintain technical documentation in line with regulatory and quality system requirements
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory, quality, manufacturing, marketing and suppliers
*Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with company strategy
Requirements
*Degree in Engineering or equivalent
*Proven experience managing product development projects, ideally within a regulated industry
*Strong ISO 13485 knowledge
*Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
*Solid CAD capability, preferably using SolidWorks
*Understanding and practical application of FEA (theory and software)
*Demonstrable success in delivering robust, effective product designs
