We’re delighted to be recruiting for a well-established, privately owned retailer in the Nantwich area who require an Accountant on a temporary basis to support the finance function during a busy period.
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who is CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified, Part Qualified or qualified-by-experience or part-qualified. Formal qualifications are not essential. What is essential is strong capability with Excel and data.
The role will involve:
*Extracting financial data from Xero
*Manipulating, analysing and presenting data in Excel
*Supporting reporting and reconciliations
*Providing practical finance support to the wider business
About you:
*Proven experience in an accounting / finance role
*Advanced Excel skills (data extraction, manipulation, pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
*Comfortable working with accounting systems (Xero experience ideal)
*Practical, detail-oriented and able to hit the ground running
*Available at short notice or within a short lead time
What’s on offer:
*Short-term assignment (2–3 months)
*Flexible engagement: day rate or fixed-term contract
*Salary equivalent of £40k–£50k
*On-site initially with scope for hybrid
