Key Responsibilities
*Teach engaging and challenging English lessons that raise student achievement.
*Plan, assess and track student progress in line with curriculum expectations.
*Create an inclusive classroom environment supporting all learners.
*Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development and wider school initiatives.
*Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced English department.
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with strong subject knowledge in English.
*Experience teaching KS3–KS4 (KS5 experience beneficial).
*Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
*A passion for inspiring young people through literature and language.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development and high teaching standards.
