About the Position:
Join our dynamic finance team as a Financial Accountant, where you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate financial statements and managing key financial processes. Start Date: 1 March 2026
What You’ll Do:
*Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements in line with recognised accounting standards.
*Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing, effective reconciliation, and strong financial controls.
*Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
*Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles with clear analysis, insights, and commentary.
*Ensure adherence to statutory reporting requirements (VAT / PAYE / CIS etc) and internal governance policies.
What You Bring:
*Proven experience in a senior accounting, financial reporting, or financial management position.
*Experience with leading accounting software.
*A solid understanding of financial accounting principles, compliance, and financial controls.
*Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
*Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
Experience Required:
3-5 years in a senior accounting or financial management role
Education:
Accounting Degree
