Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with production experience who take pride in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm. The role will start temporary but will go permanent after successful probation period.
Key responsibilities:Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
*Assemble, inspect and package products to meet quality standards
*Carry out routine quality checks and record production data
*Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace
*Identify and report defects or process issues to supervisors
*Support continuous improvement and maintain production targets
Skills and experience required:
*Proven production experience in a manufacturing environment
*Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and basic machinery operation
*Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines
*Good communication and team-working skills
*Physically able to undertake standing, lifting and repetitive tasks as required
*Flexible approach to shift patterns where necessary
