Description
*Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
*Prepare and process payment runs.
*Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
*Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
*Respond to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
*Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to support financial processes.
*Contribute to improving processes within the purchase ledger function.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
*Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar role.
*A good understanding of basic accounting principles.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
*Competitive hourly rate of £14.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
