English Teacher – Full-time, temporary role from April 2026 until May half term 2026

*Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across relevant year groups
*Support pupils in developing strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
*Assess progress within lessons and provide constructive feedback
*Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote positive routines
*Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
*Contribute to collaborative departmental planning
*Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal English Teacher:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English
*Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
*Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
*Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of varying abilities
*Good organisational and communication skills
*Reflective, proactive, and dedicated to supporting pupil progress
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting well-being
