Senior Electrical Engineer – Contract
Consultancy Location: Southampton
Project Location: London
Contract Length: Approx. 9 months
RIBA Stages: Stage 3 possibly progressing into Stage 4
Sector: High-rise Residential / Leisure / Hotel
The Role:
A well-established Building Services consultancy headquartered in Southampton is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer on a contract basis, supporting delivery of a landmark residential tower project in London.
The role will involve leading electrical services design at RIBA Stage 3, with anticipated progression into Stage 4, across a complex mixed-use scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead electrical building services design through RIBA Stage 3 and 4
*Design power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, fire alarm, data and communications
*Coordinate closely with mechanical and architectural teams
*Prepare specifications, drawings and technical reports
*Attend and contribute to design and coordination meetings
Key Requirements:
*Proven consultancy experience in electrical building services design
*Experience on residential, hotel or mixed-use developments
*Strong knowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards
*Familiarity with RIBA Stage 3 and Stage 4 design delivery
*BIM and Revit experience beneficial
