This well-established residential care service provides high-quality care for older people, including those living with mental health challenges, and makes a strong contribution to local care provision.
The home forms part of the Sisters of Nazareth’s worldwide organisation, offering additional spiritual support for residents who wish to practise their Catholic faith, while remaining fully respectful of individual choice, beliefs, and lifestyle.

The Role
We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Senior Care Assistant to join the day team. You will support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while providing leadership and guidance to care staff on shift.
This role is ideal for a compassionate and confident senior who is committed to maintaining high standards of care and supporting both residents and colleagues in a positive, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Leading day shifts and supporting care staff
*Delivering personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
*Supporting residents’ physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing
*Administering medication in line with training and policies
*Maintaining accurate care records and care plans
*Liaising with healthcare professionals and management
*Promoting dignity, safeguarding, and person-centred care at all times
Candidate Requirements
*Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant (or strong Care Assistant ready to step up)
*NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) – desirable
*Medication administration experience
*Strong leadership and communication skills
*A caring, professional, and reliable approach
*A genuine passion for supporting older people
