About the Role:
As an Audit Senior, you will lead and support audit assignments across a diverse client base. This is a great opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified professional to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead audits and support audit teams, liaising with managers and senior staff.
*Prepare audit files, undertake planning, and conduct fieldwork.
*Supervise and support junior team members, reviewing their work and providing training.
*Ensure audits are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
*Prepare accounts using software such as Silverfin and IRIS.
*Finalise accounts and check disclosures in Limited Company Accounts.
*Prepare Corporation Tax computations, including capital allowances.
*Attend training or study towards ACA/ACCA qualifications, depending on current status.
*Perform other duties as required to support the team and clients.
Job Requirements:
*AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified.
*Minimum of 2–3 years’ UK audit practice experience.
*Accounts production experience preferred but not essential.
*Familiarity with Xero, Sage, CaseWare, IRIS, or Silverfin is advantageous.
*Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
*Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
*A team player with leadership potential and the ability to mentor junior staff.
*Organised, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities.
*A valid UK driving licence and access to a car is essential due to travel requirements.
