Reed Practice are working with a firm of established accountants based in Swindon. They are looking to add a portfolio manager to their experienced team. The ideal candidate will provide professional and efficient technical processing, support & advice on the collation and reporting of Accounts across a broad client base from sole traders to limited companies, ensuring adherence to deadlines and processing budgets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Preparation & production of accounts from collation and processing to report and analysis.
*Ensure timely presentation of accounts within budget and to annual/periodic deadlines.
*Preparation of management accounts.
*Prepare corporation and personal tax computations.
*Conduct client review meetings and provide timely response to client requests for support & advice.
*Mentoring, training & supervision of employees including overseeing progress of delegated tasks.
*Development of internal procedures and workflow efficiencies.
Requirements:
*ACCA or ACA qualified.
*Accountancy practice experience essential
*Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
*Meticulous attention to detail
*Highly organised & able to work autonomously
*Ability to mentor junior members of staff
*Confident communicator – provide advice with regards to accounts
*Audit experience would be an advantage
