Our successful growing client based in Peterborough is looking to recruit a Finance assistant on a part time permanent basis. This role is 20 hours per week and our client is flexible in terms of 4 days a week or 2.5 days a week. They will happily accommodate school hours so 9.15 to 2.15 or 9.30am till 2.30pm. This is an onsite role so no hybrid working is possible. This role has a small finance function at the Peterborough site with the larger financial team based in London.
The role of Finance Assistant is to generate sales invoices for all customers. This will involve applying different customer rates and also picking out charges from Excel spreadsheets and putting them into invoices to be sent to clients. These can be simple of quite complex so attention to detail is paramount. You will also be responsible for utility costings and other adhoc duties The company use Xero so expertise in this would be an advantage but not essential. This role at present doesn’t allow for career progression but as the company grows then other opportunities will present themselves.
To be considered for this role you MUST have relevant finance experience within Sales/Purchase ledger.
