Project & Implementation Specialist
What You Will Do
We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Project & Implementation Specialist to join our team. This is an office-based role in Blackburn . You will lead the delivery of customer implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Build strong relationships with customer project teams and sponsors.
• Manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders.
• Follow project management methodologies, including tracking, reporting and documentation.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and capture customer requirements and success criteria.
• Produce project documentation such as plans, meeting minutes and highlight reports.
• Monitor progress and ensure delivery within agreed timelines and budget.
• Provide regular status updates to the Department Manager and/or Director.
• Analyse information to understand customer needs.
• Act as the link between customers and field engineering teams.
• Support the adoption and expansion of FM:Systems software.
• Deliver customer training on system configuration and maintenance.
• Create professional floor plan images using AutoCAD (training provided).

• Ability to train adult learners on new systems
• Experience in a project-related role
• Experience with system configuration
• Confidence working with clients at different technical levels
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Business analysis and requirements-gathering skills
• Effective conflict management
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 25%)
