*Location: Barnsley
*Job Type: Full Time, Temp
*Hourly Rate: £15.85 PAYE
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
*Carry out painting and decorating tasks as part of a larger adaptations team.
*Prepare surfaces, including filling, sanding, and priming, to ensure high-quality finishes.
*Apply paint, varnish, and protective coatings in line with job specifications.
*Work collaboratively with other trades to deliver adaptations works efficiently.
*Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
*Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and residents where required.
*Follow all health and safety procedures and compliance requirements.
*Travel between properties across the Barnsley area using a company or personal vehicle (as required).
Required Skills and Qualifications
*Valid UK Driving Licence (essential).
*CSCS Card (essential).
*Relevant Painting & Decorating Qualifications – NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
*Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
*Good communication and time-management skills.
