Demand Planner
Location: Wimbledon
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
Job Type: Full-time
Hybrid: Minimum 2 days per week in the office
We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and commercially minded Demand Planner to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will manage forecasting and demand planning activities, support new season product launches, and ensure appropriate stock levels across channels. You will work closely with both product and sales teams to maximise sales opportunities and highlight seasonal performance trends.
Key Responsibilities
*Build forecast plans for Wholesale and Digital channels.
*Plan new product launches using demand forecasts and analysis, considering customer promotions, market trends, and seasonal variations.
*Run planning tools using sales, stock, and intake data, identifying anomalies or errors.
*Manage SKU-level actual and target inventories, working with Operations to minimise weeks cover and maximise stock turn.
*Prepare information for weekly, monthly, and seasonal forecast meetings, including forecast accuracy, ROS vs. weeks cover, seasonal fulfilment, and in-season sell-out performance.
*Identify opportunities to optimise inventory and meet customer demand across channels.
*Review slow-moving stock and propose items suitable for promotions or clearance.
*Provide ad hoc analysis to support planning team objectives.
*Manage stock reallocations between customer orders.
*Monitor unfulfillable orders and work with the sales team to manage customer expectations and delivery dates.
Skills & Experience
*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong reporting background.
*Solid experience in inventory management and forecasting.
*Omni-channel experience (preferred).
*Knowledge of the USA market (advantageous).
*Experience with ERP planning tools and data analytics; Oracle NetSuite familiarity is beneficial.
*Strong multitasking ability and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
*Commercially aware with both analytical and creative thinking.
*Strong judgement, communication skills, and a calm approach under pressure.
*Self-motivated with strong collaboration skills.
