Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Finance Assistant for a busy well-established Courier company based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area.
Daily Duties:-
Accounts Receivable:
*Assisting with billing from the operating system and inputting/uploading of sales invoices into Sage with correct nominal code allocation
*Raising manual invoices using sage
*Sending statements and following up overdue accounts
*Resolving customer queries
Accounts Payable:
*Support team to process purchase invoices into Sage
*Support team to process supplier payments
General Finance tasks:
*Monthly transfer of data from Sage to Microsoft BC (we have to run duel systems due to head office requirements
*Allocation of supplier and customer receipts
*Monthly reconciliations between operating systems, including bank statements, debtors and creditor listings
*Other general ad hoc duties as and when required
Essential
*GCSE – Minimum A-C Grade in Maths and English or equivalent
*Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
*Must be able to work independently and as part of a larger team with a flexible can do attitude
*Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet set deadlines
*Intermediate excel skills
*Detail Orientated
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
