Freightserve are looking to recruit Driver / Warehouse person for a well-established Courier company based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area.
Duties:-
*Timed deliveries and collections within London (Area/Route to be confirmed)
*Courier/Freight Deliveries and collections from Heathrow Airside Sheds.
*Special deliveries (ad hoc areas)
*Support across import, export and fulfilment warehouses, with duties including (but not limited to) picking and packing, shipment processing, bagging and labelling and administrative/computer based tasks.
*Generate and maintain strong communication lines with other departments
*Maintain high levels of attention to detail in all tasks
*A keen ability to provide constructive feedback on challenges when encountered, to improve procedures, communication etc.
*A hands-on approach with the ability to roll up their sleeves and wear numerous hats.
*Working closely with the entire team to drive a strong team culture that focuses on delivering the ultimate customer experience.
*General housekeeping and maintaining high levels of Health and Safety at all times.
*Ability to prioritise workload based on time sensitive deadlines.
*Team player with a collaborative attitude.
*General maintenance of vehicles and equipment – e.g. clean and tidy vans/monthly inspections.
*All ad hoc duties as required
*Willing to do overtime where needed, this may include evenings and weekends.
Working hours are; Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm
