Service AdvisorLocation: Exeter
Salary:Competitive / DOE (OTE available)
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday with alternate Saturdays
About the RoleWe are seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy aftersales department. You will act as the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth and professional service experience from booking through to vehicle collection.
Key Responsibilities*Welcome customers and manage service and repair bookings
*Provide clear explanations of work required, costs, and timescales
*Liaise closely with workshop technicians to ensure jobs run efficiently
*Upsell service plans, additional repairs, and products where appropriate
*Keep customers informed of progress and any additional work required
*Ensure job cards, invoices, and documentation are accurate and complete
*Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
*Deliver exceptional customer service in line with manufacturer standards
About You*Previous experience as a Service Advisor (automotive experience preferred)
*Strong customer service and communication skills
*Confident, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
*Good IT skills and experience using dealer management systems
*Able to upsell in a consultative, customer-first manner
*Full UK driving licence
