Job Description:
Cashier
Location: Braintree, Essex
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Duration: 6 Month initial contract
Pay: £13.79 per hour
We are delighted to be supporting our client to recruit for a Cashier Assistant on a full time basis!
Purpose:
To assist in the processing of the Income Management Collection Service on a daily basis, ensuring all policies and procedures are observed and maximising resources available/income due.
Key Responsibilities:
*Ensure that all monies received in whatever format are reconciled and deposited at bank.
*Ensure payments are efficiently processed.
*Liaison with the Banking provider, other agencies and officers with regard to all matters relating to the Income Management System.
*To deal with all correspondence and enquiries relating to income management matters, including the primary reasons for non-receipt of amounts due.
*Pass collections to security company, ensuring all security procedures are undertaken.
Key Person Specification:
*Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel essential
*Ability to identify customer needs, demands and expectations and to adjust service to maximise these.
*Ability to work accurately in all aspects and time deadlines.
*Knowledge and experience of the banking service sector and processes used.
*Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people both face to face and on the telephone.
