Planning Project Manager

Reed is excited to partner with a leading renewable energy company that specialises in the design, construction, and operation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine systems across the UK. We are currently seeking a Planning Project Manager to join their innovative planning team. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to sustainable energy projects and work within a dynamic industry.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications for renewable energy projects.
*Conduct detailed planning research and site feasibility studies.
*Prepare plans and visuals to support the planning team’s activities.
*Review potential sites for wind, PV, and battery feasibility.
*Identify and assess new sites for possible wind and battery installations across the UK.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Degree in planning, renewable energy, environmental science, or a related field.
*Proficient in using ArcGIS & AutoCAD.
*Methodical, accurate, and process-focused approach.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
*Proficient in Excel.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
*Experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in wind energy.
*Associate membership of RTPI/IEMA is beneficial.
*Valid driving license.
