Vehicle TechnicianLocation: Bristol
Salary:£32,000 – £55,000 (DOE & experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (overtime available)
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our busy service department in Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles
*Diagnose faults using manufacturer diagnostic tools
*Perform MOT repairs and pre-delivery inspections (where applicable)
*Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and safety regulations
*Maintain accurate job cards, records, and reporting
*Assist with workshop cleanliness, organisation, and compliance
*Work efficiently to achieve workshop KPIs and targets
*Support apprentices and junior technicians as required
About You*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or qualified automotive engineer
*NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (preferred)
*Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
*Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
*Experience with manufacturer diagnostic systems (preferred)
*Full UK driving licence
