Our client, a design and manufacturing business based in Germany and the UK, are looking to recruit a Marketplace Manager on a permanent basis. You must be a fluent German speaker to be considered for this role. This is a fully remote role.


The client is looking for a commercially driven Marketplace Manager to fast forward growth across their ecommerce and marketplace channels, with the main priority being scaling their marketplace performance internationally.


While this role will support the day-to-day operation of one marketplace, the core responsibility is to own, optimise and grow their presence across marketplaces.


The main responsibilities of the role will include:
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of Amazon across the UK and Germany as well as other international Amazon marketplaces they expand
• Manage additional European marketplaces
• Set up and maintain product listings, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, imagery, A+ content and backend attributes
• Ensure all listings follow platform best practice
• Monitor marketplace performance
• Lead and implement A/B testing on product content
• Support paid activity on marketplaces, particularly Amazon Ads
• Ensure product listings are optimised for marketplace SEO
• Share insights and performance learnings with internal teams
• Apply an understanding of cultural and commercial differences between UK and German markets.


The ideal candidate will:
• Have proven experience managing marketplaces, particularly Amazon
• Be data-led, very commercial and motivated by results and performance
• Have experience working with A+ content and Amazon Brand Registry
• Strong understanding of marketplace product set-up, optimisation and best practice
• Experience with A/B testing
• Strong grasp of marketplace SEO principles.
• Fluent English and German (written and spoken)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
