About the Role
A warm, welcoming, family-run nursery is seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its dedicated team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education and supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities
*Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring children’s interests and experiences are reflected in daily planning.
*Provide a high standard of care and education to meet the individual needs of all children.
*Act as a key person, supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
*Confidently follow and implement nursery policies, procedures, and working practices.
*Plan, prepare, and supervise engaging, age-appropriate activities.
*Ensure children are supervised and supported at all times in a safe, nurturing environment.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality practice across the nursery.
*Promote positive partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
*Safeguard children and report any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
*Maintain a positive, professional attitude with children, families, and colleagues.
*Maintain confidentiality where appropriate.
*Attend staff meetings, planning sessions, and training as required.
Requirements
• Full and relevant NVQ Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), safeguarding, and child protection.
• Confident understanding of child development, observations, and assessments.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and education within a nursery
setting.
