This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with 1 day per week hybrid working options available.


Salary is up to £55,000 depending on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.


Overview:
This fantastic, well-established practice is seeking an experienced SeniorAccountant / Client Manager to join its growing team in the heart of Bognor Regis . This role will be split between audit and accounts assignments, giving you the balance to further enhance your skills. You will be part of a supportive team with clear career progression pathways and opportunities to build strong client relationships.


The Role:
This is a varied and hands-on position offering responsibility across statutory reporting, tax compliance, and client advisory work. You will act as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients while contributing to quality, efficiency, and team development.


Key responsibilities include:
*Preparation and review of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
*Preparation and submission of corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT returns
*Management of a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and individuals
*Acting as day-to-day contact for clients, maintaining strong professional and trusted relationships
*Identifying technical issues, risks, and opportunities to add value for clients
*Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients across multiple industries
*Supervise and support junior staff, providing guidance and reviewing their work
*Assist with business advisory and planning work where required
*Liaise with partners on technical matters and present solutions to client queries


What we’re looking for:
A successful candidate for this role will be a qualified ACA or ACCA professional with strong UK practice experience within a 1hr commute. You should have prior involvement in both Accounts and Client Management.
