A standout opportunity has arisen for a qualified Court of Protection Solicitor to join a high-performing, collaborative team in Canterbury. This role will see the successful candidate working alongside an experienced solicitor and a strong support team of caseworkers, playing a vital role in managing clients’ affairs with care, compliance, and compassion.
What we are looking for
This firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Court of Protection Solicitor, open to a range of experience levels. The ideal candidate will be:
*Qualified with relevant experience in Court of Protection work
*Firm, understanding, and detail-focused
*Organised, decisive, and confident in applying systems and processes
*Comfortable conducting capacity meetings and finalising reports
*Familiar with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deputy Standards
*Experienced in liaising with financial, medical, and social care professionals
*Confident preparing OPG annual returns, reconciling bank statements, and handling LPA applications
*Committed to high standards in client care and record keeping
