Job Description:
An established company are currently looking for a Building/InsuranceSurveyor to join their team. The Building/InsuranceSurveyor role is a 50/50 office/field-based role and involves surveying properties in line with insurance information, obtaining required data and preparing schedules of work.
*Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
*40 hours
*Company vehicle/fuel card and on-site parking provided
Building/Insurance Surveyor responsibilities:
*Assessing property damage and preparing a scope of works to be submitted to the insurer
*Identify defects and advise on effective remedial works
*Thoroughly assessing any damage and entering relevant information onto the in-house database system
*Preparing reports and updates for customers, assisting with key decisions and recommendations
*Making liability decisions and appointing suppliers to deliver timely repairs and resolutions
*Ensuring works are managed in a cost-effective and customer-focused way
*Collaborating closely with internal teams to share information and manage outcomes
Building/Insurance Surveyor skills/competencies:
*Previous experience in a similar role desirable
*Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
