Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant following a recent restructure. This is a hands-on, temporary role requiring strong financial accounting expertise, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while supporting high-quality outputs for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Execute and support month-end processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities.
*Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, accrued/deferred income balances, and other key accounting schedules.
*Ensure audit readiness by responding to requests and supporting audit requirements.
*Collaborate with the COE team in India to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial outputs.
*Identify and highlight discrepancies or improvements in financial data and processes.
*Support process improvements, particularly around P2P, month-end close, and financial reporting.
*Liaise with stakeholders to gather information, chase outstanding items, and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
*Provide ad-hoc reporting and support to the wider finance team as required.
Person Specification:
*Immediately available
*Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience in financial accounting.
*Strong hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
*Solid understanding of audit processes and statutory reporting requirements.
*Comfortable working independently in a changing environment with evolving systems and processes (e.g., NetSuite or similar ERP).
*Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
