A welcoming and caring Primary School in Oxford is looking for a Social & Emotional Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a lovely opportunity for a graduate, Teaching Assistant, or someone with experience in pastoral care, SEN, behaviour support, or mental health who wants to make a genuine difference in children’s lives.
This role would be perfect for someone with a background in psychology, education, youth work, or counselling, or simply someone with a strong interest in supporting children’s social and emotional development. Experience working with children is helpful, but most importantly, the school is looking for someone who is kind, patient, and approachable.
They are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Social & Emotional Support Assistant who enjoys building positive relationships and helping children feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
