Role: Audio Engineer (AR/VR Research)
Location: Cambridge, UK (Fully onsite)
Duration: 12 months


Responsibilities
*Collect high-quality audio and video data in controlled lab environments
*Set up, test, and calibrate recording equipment
*Process and organise multimedia data using standard tools and scripts
*Work with internal and external participants during recording sessions
*Support experiment setup and general lab maintenance
Required Skills & Experience
*Experience in audio engineering, sound engineering, or AV technician roles
*Strong knowledge of DAWs, audio interfaces, microphones, and speakers
*Excellent attention to detail
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Good organisational and time management skills
Nice to Have
*Experience with large datasets or spreadsheets
*Scripting or programming experience (e.g., Python)
*Familiarity with Linux/command line tools
