Job Description:

The Education Specialists (TES) are looking for dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistants to work in the Liverpool area, to join our supply register for roles including short-term, long-term, and day-to-day cover.
The key responsibilities of a Primary Teaching Assistant:
*Provide extra help to pupils who need additional support (e.g., those with SEND or who are learning English as an additional language)
*Deliver general classroom support across KS1 and KS2
*Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning from the main lesson
*Encourage children to participate, stay focused, and build confidence in their learning
*Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to support teaching objectives
Who can apply for the role of Primary Teaching Assistant:
*Recent experience in an education setting or working with children (paid or voluntary)
*A proactive and positive attitude with a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing
*Strong communication and behaviour management skills
*An understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education
*Experience with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is highly welcomed
*Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
