Injection Moulding Setter - Mere | Competitive £35,000 salary, shift allowance & onsite gym
We’re looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join a well-established manufacturing team in Mere. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background as an Injection Moulding Technician or Mould Setter to work in a supportive environment, develop their skills, and contribute to high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:
In this hands-on role, you’ll be ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently:
* Set up machines to specification and action manufacturing plans
* Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues
* Safely install mould tools and oversee machine setup to ensure product quality
* Monitor materials and production stocks used by operators
* Maintain clean and safe workspaces, following H&S procedures
* Check product quality against specifications and implement remedial actions
* Support and train operators on best manufacturing practices
* Communicate daily with the Mouldings Manager on technical issues affecting production
* Encourage efficient and effective working practices across the team
What we’re looking for:
We want someone who can hit the ground running and support production excellence:
* Professional qualification in Injection Moulding and Automated systems (E)
* Understanding of general manufacturing practices (E)
* Technical experience operating injection moulding machines (8 years desirable)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
* Good written and verbal communication
* Awareness of Health & Safety practices
* IT and manufacturing systems knowledge
