Job Description:
Contract Durations: 4-9 months (while the ship is sailing) **Location: At Sea (Global Itineraries) Sails from Southampton in the UK. You will be provided transportation to the ship.
Pay rates are £2,500 - £3,500 per month dependent on experience. All board and food is included for free on board.
About the Role As a Beauty Therapist onboard one of the world’s leading cruise lines, you will deliver exceptional beauty and wellness services to our diverse international guests. You will work in a state-of-the-art spa and salon, providing a range of treatments including facials, body therapies, nail services, and waxing, all while adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and guest care. Key Responsibilities
*Guest Experience: Provide a wide range of professional beauty treatments, including facials, body wraps, massages, nail care, and waxing, tailored to each guest’s needs. Ensure every interaction is welcoming, personalized, and exceeds expectations.
*Product Knowledge & Sales: Recommend and retail spa products, educating guests on their benefits and usage to enhance their wellness journey.
*Health & Safety: Maintain impeccable hygiene and safety standards in all treatments and work areas, in line with cruise line and maritime regulations.
*Team Collaboration: Work closely with the spa and salon team to deliver seamless service, participate in training, and support promotional events.
*Adaptability: Adjust to the ever-changing needs of guests and the ship’s schedule, including port days and special events.
*Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing training and self-study.

Requirements
*Qualifications: Recognized diploma or certification in Beauty Therapy (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CIDESCO, or equivalent). Additional certifications in advanced treatments (e.g., electrical facials, aromatherapy) are a plus.
*Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury spa, salon, or cruise ship environment.
*Skills: Exceptional customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are beneficial.
*Personal Attributes: Outgoing, professional, and passionate about beauty and wellness. Must be adaptable, resilient, and eager to embrace the challenges and rewards of life at sea.
