Job Description:
The Role:
We are looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join our growing team to provide efficient and accurate accounts for the firm. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop alongside a leading dynamic finance team.
Accountabilities:
*Use debtors reporting to effectively manage and chase aged debt
*Monitor and update Collections module with case information
*Send monthly credit control statements to clients
*Send reminder letters to clients
*Assist Credit Control Manager to provide regular progress reports to Financial Controller and Finance Director
*Successfully resolve queries from fee earners, secretaries, client financial administrators and clients regarding bills raised
*Work with Debt Recovery Team to help escalate cases that require further debt management.
*Work effectively with accounts team to allocate payments
*Process credit card payments from clients
*Ensuring that own knowledge and skills are kept up-to-date and request training where necessary.
What we are looking for:
*A-level or equivalent, including maths.
*Proven experience of working in an Accounts department
Skills:
*Strong IT skills, including word and excel.
*Good organisation and administrative skills.
*Accuracy and attention to detail.
*Ability to effectively prioritise.
*Excellent communication skills.
