Salary: Up to £45k Base + Benefits
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Job Description and Purpose
A well-established transport and logistics operator is seeking a Transport Planner in Yeadon to coordinate daily transport operations. The role focuses on delivering high service levels through efficient planning, effective communication and full compliance with transport, safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and manage daily transport operations including routing, scheduling and resource allocation.
*Coordinate with drivers, warehouse teams and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
*Monitor vehicle movements using TMS and GPS systems, proactively managing delays or operational issues.
*Ensure compliance with transport legislation, safety requirements and internal operating procedures.
Key Experience
*Proven experience in a transport planning or logistics coordination role within a fleet-based operation.
*Strong working knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and GPS tracking tools.
*Understanding of UK transport regulations, driver hours and compliance requirements.
*Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
