SEND Teacher - Specialist Provisions East & Central Lancashire
Full-Time | Term Time Only | ASAP Start
£185 - £230 per day
We are recruiting passionate and dedicated teachers to work within specialist provisions across East and Central Lancashire, supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and complex learning needs in small, supportive classroom settings.
The Role
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
* Teach small groups and classes within specialist provisions
* Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs
* Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
* Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
What We’re Looking For * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching within specialist or SEN settings
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
Essential Requirements * Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (UDS) or willingness to apply for one
* Minimum 24 months of employment references
* No significant gaps in employment history
What You’ll Receive * Competitive daily rate (£185-£230)
* Full-time, term-time only hours
* Supportive specialist settings with small class sizes
* Potential for long-term or permanent placement
