An exciting opportunity for a Trade Counter Sales Negotiator has become available at our Hemel Hempstead branch. We require an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can provide excellent customer service skills to our trade and retail customers.
Key tasks of a Trade Counter Sales Negotiator / Trade Counter Sales Assistant will include:
*Selling building materials profitably to trade and retail
*Responsibility for the cash sale business
*Awareness of new sales opportunities
*Effective use of PC to organise transactions
*Acquiring quotes, following up and achieving orders
*Counter stock maintenance / assisting with stock take preparation
*Ensure highest standard of service to the customer
Person & Skills of a Trade Counter Sales Negotiator / Trade Counter Sales Assistant:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and ideally will have proven experience selling heavy-side building materials. The ability to build relationships with local builders, contractors and suppliers is key to the role.
