Job Description:
My client is seeking a Director of Sales for a Flagship Hotel.
As the Director of Sales, you will assume a pivotal role in sustaining and developing robust relationships with our key clients. You will be responsible for proactively soliciting and managing special corporate accounts, groups, and catering opportunities, and for providing comprehensive account management for the existing portfolio. Your primary objective is to cultivate long-term, value-driven customer relationships that help the hotel achieve its sales targets, thereby fostering brand loyalty and expanding market share.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Building and strengthening relationships with both existing and new customers to facilitate future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, and more.
Developing relationships within the community to enhance and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
Managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Providing accurate, complete, and effective handovers to Event Management.
Identifying new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
Understanding the overall market—including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand—and knowing how to sell against them.
Ensuring that the Senior Event Manager and their team work effectively and efficiently to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Assisting other departments as needed and maintaining good working relationships across the hotel.
Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety laws.

You will have a proven track record in a similar role within a hotel environment. Experience in coaching and developing. team members, driving sales, and delivering financial results.
