Job Description:
Randstad Student Support is seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to support students at the University of Bath. This vital role involves managing a dedicated caseload and providing essential support as part of the Therapeutic, Mental Health, and Wellbeing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage a student caseload, providing solution-focused planning and therapeutic interventions.
*Conduct comprehensive risk management and safety planning.
*Perform detailed risk assessments and subsequent casework.
*Collaborate with the merged Mental Health and Wellbeing team, focusing on work that may not necessarily require six sessions of counselling.
Essential Requirements:
*Current registration with a professional body. The University will consider candidates with current registration in one of the following: *Social Worker England (SWE)
*Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC - as a Mental Health Nurse)
*Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC - e.g., as an Occupational Therapist)
*BACP membership.
*Experience in solution-focused planning, risk assessment, and safety planning.
*Ability to work on campus with some required in-person sessions as part of a hybrid work pattern.
*Rate:£22 per hour + holiday pay
*Type:Locum, 0.8 FTE (4 days per week)
*Duration:Until the end of the term (approx. end of June)
