Job Description:
Client Accountant - Reading - Hybrid Working
Our client is seeking a Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) to join their growing team as a Client Accountant. This is a hands-on role, working with a variety of clients across sectors including SaaS, Tech, E-Commerce, and Professional Services. You’ll focus on management accounts, advisory work, and compliance, while also supporting and developing junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:?
*Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial schedules, and journal entries
*Liaise with client’s finance teams and manage bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and basic financial analysis
*Assist or lead compliance work, including financial statements, corporation tax, and personal tax returns
*Support advisory projects, such as business valuations, financial modelling, raising capital, and M&A activities
*Attend client meetings and networking events
*Supervise and mentor junior team members
Skills & Experience:
*Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with strong accounting and analytical skills
*Previous experience within a practice enviroment
*Experienced with Xero and QuickBooks Online, proficient in Excel
*Strong communication, time management, and team leadership skills
*Flexible and willing to commute to clients within the Thames Valley
