Part-Time Payroll Administrator
We are recruiting an experienced Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join a well-established accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys a varied role within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payrolls across a varied workload, ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
*Calculating statutory payments, bonuses and holiday pay
*Submitting RTI to HMRC and ensuring PAYE/NIC compliance
*Administering workplace pension auto-enrolment
*Preparing payslips and year-end reports (P60s, P11Ds)
*Maintaining payroll records in line with GDPR requirements
*Responding to payroll-related queries
Key Requirements:
*Previous payroll experience within an accountancy or payroll bureau environment
*Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
*Experience using payroll software such as BrightPay, Moneysoft, Sage or Xero Payroll
*High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently
Desirable:
*Experience with CIS returns
*Knowledge of bookkeeping or general accountancy practices
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
