DSC Electrical Services Ltd is seeking a competent and reliable Electrician to join our growing team, covering the West Midlands area. Willingness to travel is essential.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will carry out a range of electrical works across domestic and commercial sites, delivering high-quality installations, maintenance, and fault-finding in line with current regulations and company standards. Working in hotel groups, merchants as well as property conversions. We work with a large group of developers and groups across the leisure sector. The role is varied and there is also the chance to learn and move into EV charging infrastructure within the company.


Key Responsibilities
*Electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding works
*First fix and second fix electrical installations
*Installation and wiring of AFDDs where required
*Electrical works within HMO properties, ensuring compliance with relevant wiring and fire regulations
*Testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations
*Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
*Completing work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
*Accurately completing job sheets and documentation
*Representing DSC Electrical Services Ltd professionally on site


Requirements


*Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
*JIB Gold (desired but not essential)
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations
*2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (desired, experienced in testing considered)
*Fully capable of working independently and as part of a team
*Fully up to speed with first fix and second fix installations in domestic dwellings
*Familiar with wiring AFDDs and working on HMO properties
*Full UK driving licence
*Own tools and van required initially (vehicle provided after probation, testing equipment provided)
*Strong attention to detail and a professional, reliable attitude
