A highly acquisitive and growing business near Pocklington have a newly created role for a Financial Controller
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director this is a position that combines strategic influence with day-to-day ownership of the finance department.

Act as the lead finance business partner for the division, providing challenge, insight, and support to the Divisional Managing Director and Finance Director
*Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team of 3
*Take ownership of the division’s full financial cycle, from month-end reporting and board packs through to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision support.
*Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful management accounts each month, with clear commentary and recommendations.
*Prepare monthly board packs, ensuring key financial and operational metrics are presented in a way that drives action.
*Prepare the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes for the division.
*Strengthen and formalise financial controls, processes, and reporting standards across the division.
You will be;
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with post-qualified experience in a management role
*Proven ability to produce and present high-quality management information and board packs.
*Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with accounting or modern ERP systems.
*Excellent communicator with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insight for non-financial colleagues
