Construction/Civil Engineering

£40,000-£60,000 (Depending on experience)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business who are committed to meeting the ever changing demands throughout their industry.
Our client are seeking a detail-orientated Estimator to prepare competitive tenders and working closely with clients to deliver successful projects.
Description of the role
*Review tender enquiries, specifications, and contract conditions.
*Prepare estimates, tender submissions, and attend review meetings.
*Ensure all construction methods comply with health, safety, and quality standards.
*Conduct site visits and assess factors influencing cost and construction methods.
*Source materials, plant hire, and subcontractor quotes; calculate costs and overheads.
*Support contract handovers and maintain compliance with company procedures.
*Mentor and support junior staff to develop skills and competence.
About you
*You will have experience with industrial buildings and civil engineering projects.
*Civil Engineering or equivalent degree would be advantageous.
*Experience in substation construction.
*Strong knowledge of construction methods, cost estimation, and health & safety legislation.
