My client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality foam-based products, serving both trade and retail customers. Our operation runs from a fast-paced warehouse and logistics hub where teamwork, flexibility, and efficiency are essential. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and adaptable Relief Driver / Warehouse Assistant to support our logistics and warehouse operations. This is a 50%/50% role doing both driving and Warehouse Assistant.


Role Overview
This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and warehouse-based work. The successful candidate will primarily provide cover for our delivery drivers, operating both 3.5T vehicles to ensure timely, professional deliveries to our customers. When not driving, the role will involve supporting the warehouse team with packing, order preparation, and general warehouse duties.


Key Responsibilities
*Provide reliable delivery cover using 3.5T vehicles as required.
*Safely load, transport, and unload foam products and related goods.
*Complete delivery documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
*Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
*Support general warehouse operations, including stock movement, housekeeping, and basic administrative tasks.
*Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are kept clean and roadworthy.
*Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.


Requirements
*Valid 3.5T driving licence with CPC; experience
*Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
*Previous experience in a delivery driving and/or warehouse role.
*Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
*Strong work ethic with a positive, team-focused attitude.
*Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business as required.
