We’re supporting a well-established organisation based in the Castlewood area who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join their busy and well-organised distribution team. The Role
Working within a fast-paced dispatch warehouse, you’ll be responsible for a variety of warehouse and stock-related duties, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
*Previous experience in a despatch environment
*Has a flexible approach to working hours and workload
*Is proactive, quality-focused and reliable
*Works well within a team and contributes positively to the wider operation
*Can use computer systems and handheld scanners confidently (or is willing to learn)
*Is comfortable working in a busy, warehouse environment
Within this position, you’ll also be:
*Picking, packing and dispatching parts to customers and external teams
*Using warehouse systems, scanners and bespoke software to process orders and shipments
*Selecting appropriate carriers and preparing consignments for dispatch
*Managing stock and supporting internal service operations
*Processing returned items in line with company procedures
*Goods receipt and storing stock accurately within the warehouse
*Supporting with basic administrative tasks
Hours and Salary
*37.5 hours per week
*4/5 days per week on a rota - 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday
