*6am - 2pm
*2pm - 10pm
*10pm - 6am
Shifts: Monday - Sunday
Important: Must be a driver with your own transport due to the location.
Job Overview
HRGO Recruitment are seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team based in Rayleigh, Essex. This role is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, reliable, and able to operate effectively within a large warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Goods In & Stock Handling
*Receive and unload deliveries, checking goods against delivery paperwork.
*Inspect all incoming stock for damage and report any issues promptly.
Order Picking & Machine Operation
*Pick customer orders accurately using handheld scanners or pick sheets.
*Operate warehouse machinery as required.
*Ensure all items are correctly labelled before dispatch.
Dispatch & Loading
*Prepare and pack orders securely for delivery.
*Load vehicles safely while following correct manual handling procedures.
*Work alongside drivers and the transport team to meet dispatch deadlines.
Health & Safety
*Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working area.
*Use equipment such as FLT and PPT in line with company training and H&S guidelines.
*Report hazards, equipment faults, and near-miss incidents.
General Operations
*Assist with regular stock checks and inventory counts.
*Support colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
*Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency within the warehouse.
Skills & Experience
Essential
*Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
*Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Team player with the ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
