Kenny Recruit are looking for a New Business Development Manager to join one of their favourite clients! Important to note we’re looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, this role is not suited to someone early on in their sales career. This is a standalone role and will suit someone who is motivated by sales and looking to continually increase their income, we really are looking for a hungry sales individual! Our client are an e-commerce retail business who have seen significant growth over the last 10 years. This is an opportunity to shine in a pivotal role, building strong relationships, penetrating new markets, and shaping the future of a thriving division.


As the New Business Development Manager ger, you will lead and deliver the national B2C retail sales strategy, drive new retail partnerships across key UK sectors (DIY, Lifestyle, Discount, Grocery, Electrical), own the full sales lifecycle from market mapping and prospecting through negotiation, contract closure, and ongoing account growth. You will also focus on building senior stakeholder relationships, developing pricing models and collaborate cross-functionally to maximise distribution, revenue, and margin along with identifying international growth opportunities across EU and US retail markets. We are looking for someone with B2C retail account management experience with a proven record of winning major UK listings and driving sales growth.
Pay: £60,000 - £100,000 base salary (dependent on experience) + commission + benefits + discretionary bonuses
Location: Central London. 2 - 3 days in the office required, potentially more some weeks.
Working hours: 9:00am - 6.00pm
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and deliver the national B2C retail sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
*Secure and grow retail partnerships across UK sectors: DIY, Lifestyle, Discount, Grocery, Electrical.
*Manage end-to-end sales processes: prospecting, pipeline development, proposals, negotiation, and account growth.
*Build senior stakeholder relationships and develop pricing models, business cases, and sales presentations.
*Drive distribution, range expansion, and promotional strategies to maximise revenue and margin.
*Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class retail solutions.
*Track performance, maintain forecasts, and report results.
*Identify and pursue international growth opportunities in EU and US markets.
Requirements:
*Senior B2C retail account manager with a strong track record of winning major UK listings and driving growth.
*Expertise in multichannel retail across DIY, Lifestyle, Discount, Grocery, and Electrical sectors.
*Skilled in negotiation, business case development, pricing/margin modelling, and senior stakeholder engagement.
*Experienced with trade channels, international markets (EU/US), and building new commercial functions.
*Entrepreneurial, proactive, and opportunity-focused.
*Commercially astute with strong results orientation.
*Highly organised with excellent planning and execution skills.
*Confident communicator, effective with senior leadership.
*Strategic thinker with strong operational attention to detail.
